My Dogs

We adopted Brady in October 2004 from a rescue group called The Bill Foundation. He is a Husky/Malamute mix and is about two-years-old. Brady is fitting into his new household well and we are happy he has joined the family!

Kelso is an all-American dog. In other words, we aren't sure what breed he is!
Kelso was born February 9, 2000 on the floor of the animal shelter. A friend of mine had seen Kelso's Mom the day before at the shelter, pregnant and ready to pop! She wanted to adopt this expectant dog, but she wasn't available for adoption until the next day. Arriving back at the shelter a day later, there were now ten dogs to adopt - Mom and her newly-born nine puppies who had arrived overnight.
With the help of several friends all ten dogs found loving homes. We fell in love with Kelso and couldn't part with him. Two of Kelso's littermates live nearby and we get to see them often.
In 2003 Kelso entered the "Nuts For Mutts" Dog Show sponsored by New Leash On Life Rescue. He not only won first prize in the "Most Handsome" category, he also took home second place overall in "Best In Show!" He truly is a handsome boy.
Kelso loves running in the park, agility training and spending time with us. In case you hadn't already guessed, Kelso is the happy, smilin' dog in our logo.

In Memorial
Nikko, a strong and beautiful Siberian Husky, was born November 1, 1992. Nikko was a gentle giant who loved everyone and especially enjoyed a good party! He was also a wonderful dog trainer - many young pups have learned to respect their elders after just a few meaningful moments with "Mr. Husky."
Nikko passed away in May 2004 at home with his family by his side.
